The job
You will be working with our clinical teams to deliver the best primary care healthcare service to patients. More specifically, our HCAs are responsible for the normal primary care clinical HCA duties and clinical administrative work.
Clinical responsibilities include:
New patient health checks and other health screening
Urinalysis and preparation of specimens
Blood tests and phlebotomy
Long term condition reviews where appropriate
Ear Irrigation and vaccinations including flu/pneumococcal vaccines
Dressings and wound-care
Patient education and promotion of health and well-being
Gathering lifestyle data from patients
Infection control and equipment management
Vaccination management and clinical stock control
About you
The right candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with our diverse patient population, and be able to work well in a close-knit team of both clinicians and non-clinicians. Good clinical knowledge and analytical skills are important to ensure successful consultations.
Experience required: We are ideally looking for someone with >12 months experience working in a Care setting. Previous experience working with EMIS also preferred but not required.
